Typically, he will make a cut around your areola going down to your breast fold. This allows Dr Morris Ritz to access and remove fat tissues. He will then reshape your breasts by removing excess skin. Your areola and nipple will also be repositioned to complement your body proportions. Then he will close the incisions with sutures. During this process, our plastic surgeon Dr Ritz will also insert drains in the incisions. This will help prevent fluid accumulation beneath your skin. To protect your wounds, we will wrap your breasts in a sterile dressing.

Things to know before the procedure

Recovery after the procedure

After your surgery, it is normal to experience mild bruising and swelling in your breast area. After 24 hours, your drains will be removed. Once your condition is stable, Dr Ritz will allow you to go home. As you recover, it is recommended to avoid vigorous activities such as heavy lifting. It is also beneficial to have someone assist you in your daily activities at home. To prevent discomforts, you will need to take pain medications and anti-inflammatories.
